The Lighthouse restaurant is coming from Dubai to Riyadh

The Mediterranean menu ranges from pastas to pastries.

FACT has some news that will brighten up your day. The Lighthouse is coming from Dubai to the Saudi capital. The Mediterranean restaurant is heading to the 1364 in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter, and here’s what we know.  

The Lighthouse in Riyadh is a multi-purpose venue that combines food, drink, and shopping. In 2017, the original venue, The Lighthouse, Restaurant, Bar, and Concept Store, opened in Dubai Design District. The site includes a restaurant, bar, and gift shop.

Today, the brand can be found across the UAE in Mall of the Emirates, Dubai; Nakheel Mall, Dubai; and Yas Bay Waterfront, Abu Dhabi. The expansion to Riyadh marks its debut in Saudi Arabia.

If The Lighthouse’s original menu is anything to go by, diners are in for a tasty treat. The restaurant’s breakfast offering is a speciality and includes a healthy breakfast special as well as a pastry and bread selection. Popular dishes include Avocado on Toast, Chia Bowl, and Goats Cheese and Honey Pie.

The lunch and dinner offerings span soups, salads, sandwiches, sides, mezze, burgers and mains. Mains include Chicken Piccata with pan-fried chicken, Steak Frites with 260g of striploin steak, and Veal Milanese served on the bone. Pasta dishes include Penne Arrabbiata, Spaghetti Pomodoro, and Truffle Rigatoni. Plus, the signature Lighthouse Burger comes with a double beef patty, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes.

Desserts include French Toast with vanilla bean ice cream, a Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bar with dark chocolate sponge, and The Lighthouse Honey Cake with sponge and cream cheese.

The Lighthouse in Riyadh will be located in 1364, a new luxury lifestyle destination in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter that brings together homegrown and international brands. The date refers to the founding date of Saudi Arabia. Upon completion, the venue will boast world-class restaurants, classy cafés and state-of-the-art wellness centres.
