Legendary rockstar Bryan Adams is coming to Abu Dhabi

Get ready to rock, Abu Dhabi. The superstar singer Bryan Adams is coming to the capital. He will be performing at Etihad Arena, Yas Island on Thursday, 19 December.

Bryan hails from Ontario, Canada. He bought his first electric guitar at the age of 12 and left school to play in a group called Shock. His first self-titled debut album was released in 1980. He is famous for his hit songs Summer of ’69, Run Free and The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You. 

His contribution to the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves soundtrack in 1991 made him a superstar. The power ballad, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, spent 16 weeks at number one in the UK Singles Chart and sold more than 15 million copies worldwide. Fun fact: the song was apparently written in one hour.

Over his career, he has won a Grammy Award and been inducted on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has also been nominated for an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award. 

The Abu Dhabi concert will kick off the World Tennis League 2024 held in the capital. Apart from tennis players, the championship has seen performers such as Ne-Yo, 50 Cent, Armin van Burren and many more. Now, with Bryan Adams on the mic, the evening is sure to be magical.
